Join us for a summer sermon series on the life of Elisha the prophet.  Elisha lived in Israel during the 9^th Century B.C., at a time when the nation of Israel was divided and many Israelites had turned their backs on the Lord and were worshiping idols.  God raised up the prophet Elisha and did extraordinary miracles through him. In fact, more miracles are attributed to Elisha than any other person in the Bible, with the exception of Jesus of course.

As we study the Old Testament and the life of Elisha, let’s keep in mind what the New Testament says about the Old Testament Scriptures.

Romans 15:4 – For everything that was written in the past was written to teach us, so that through the endurance taught in the Scriptures and the encouragement they provide we might have hope.

There are important spiritual lessons that are taught in the life of Elisha.
