Throughout the Winter months (January, February, & March), we’ll be digging into the epistle of First John. Penned by the apostle John, who was arguably Jesus’ dearest and closest friend during his earthly ministry, this book of five chapters is packed full of important teaching. It sets the record straight on what Christians are to believe and how they are to live. In a world full of false ideas and doctrines John writes to explain what true Christianity looks like. The letter testifies to the reality of Christ’s coming in the flesh, and it emphasizes how godly living and loving care for others are signs of those who are genuinely born again.
