Genesis 1 to 11 are crucial portions of Scripture.  I don’t think that it is an exaggeration to say that every major doctrine can be seen in a basic form in Genesis 1-11. Here we find the origins of the doctrine of God, creation, man, sin, Satan, salvation, marriage, family, civilization, judgment, and the origin of languages and nations.

The content of these chapters have been among the most hotly debated chapters in recent decades. We are told over and over from different sources that science has proved that these chapters could not possibly be true, and that the theory of evolution is a fact, and that no reasonably intelligent person could actually believe in a literal Adam and Eve, a literal Garden of Eden, a literal Noah, a literal ark, and a worldwide flood. Since there is such a tremendous attack on these chapters in our day Christians need to be better equipped to face these attacks, which is why this series is so critical.
