In this sermon series, Pastor Bryan guides the congregation through Matthew 5-7 in a series of sermons covering the Sermon on the Mount.  The content of those chapters is one continuous message that Jesus gave while he was on a mountainside in Galilee. His teachings were revolutionary truths to his first century audience, and they continue to explode with great impact on the minds of those who read them today and for the last two millennium.  What we see in the Sermon on the Mount is the Lord’s Instructions for Everyday Living. The Sermon on the Mount begins with the Beatitudes, those 8 declarations each beginning with the phrase “Blessed are…” Since we studied those a few years ago at Onward, we’ll begin our series from the Sermon on the Mount just after the Beatitudes.
